Theatre experience

Playa is new but trying to be helpful. We have to Windex our own reflectors. We sign in and see 40 names above ours. Why did I ask for a headset for this captioning-only movie? And why won't it simply amplify the main soundtrack in such a case?

Caption quality

A bit too much on one line:

Yes.     (horn honks)       Yeah.

(mellow, [word obscured in ill-scribed notes] Mexican instrumental playing): It's Herb Albert and the Tijuana Brass! Also (upbeat '60s pop instrumental playing); (mid-tempo rock song plays) (it’s “More Than This”; Cf. Bill Murray karaoke).

(skateboard clacking over seams in sidewalk): How’s that for descriptive?

The euro is in fact the euro and not the Euro.

No thanks, honey requires a comma. At least they didn’t screw up the vocative.

Reading lottery numbers: Six, 18, 30, 49, 60. I doubt it was written as “six.”

Oddly, FRANK (voice-over): and ANGELA (voice-over): actually were.

That’ll be 36.50, sir: I still haven’t made up my mind how to render dollar amounts when they don’t utter that word.

Consistency

Not applicable.

Exit interview

No problems.
