I've programmed my own Web site from scratch since 1994. Using text editors, word processors (including macros), spreadsheets, and ingenuity, I've entered every character you find at this site by hand without the use of a WYSIWYG layout program.

But I take careful notes and am an experienced user, and have technical knowledge, meaning I catch mistakes designers miss and can put them into words. And I speak very plainly.
