I have appeared twice on this unique Bible-study podcast, now rebadged as the Flock.
“The Man of Lawlessness”: First appearance, August 2023.

Or, if you prefer, a video version:
“The Old Gay Mare Ain’t What He Used to Be”: Second appearance, May 2025.
Our topic is Zechariah and horses. Indeed, there’s a 1,200-page PDF of references concerning horses in Zechariah and the Bible you might vaguely wish to skim through.
The clubs and fellowships we were talking about in this episode are properly known as sodalities.

Or – again – on video:
How I ended up sounding at a certain point on this episode:
First, I mentioned the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible a few times. They’re kind of a shitshow as a company, and I have issues with the typography.
Next, I extolled a film by Bruno Dumont (and mentioned its sequel).
Here’s what John Waters said about the first one:
Jeannette: The Childhood of Joan of Arc (Bruno Dumont) An insanely radical heavy-metal grade-school religious pageant that is sung in French from beginning to end. The actors themselves seem like they might burst out laughing, but this is no joke. It’s the best movie of the year. You’ll hate it.
Au contraire, Jacques – je l’adore.
You can buy it on disc with some difficulty.
Jeannette’s sequel:
Joan of Arc (Bruno Dumont) There is a God and his name is Bruno Dumont. His piously poisonous sequel to last year’s best film, Jeannette: The Childhood of Joan of Arc, is artier [and] holier and will give you Catholic goosebumps. The ten-year-old star stares nobly and defiantly through the camera lens right into your soul and doesn’t even wait for the church authorities – she burns herself at the stake.
I didn’t like it as much. You’ll have to look this one up yourselves.
