NEW FOR 2011! ☞ As promised after BookCamp Toronto 2011, I’m offering a one-time-only free hour of training for up to six publishing-industry professionals on HTML semantics and character encoding.

You’ll learn:

• What E-books are made of (Web pages)
• How Web pages are constructed
• Structure and semantics of documents
• How to apply markup to typical book copy

You’ll also be brought up to speed on character encoding, that is, the use of Unicode to ensure that all the characters in an E-book are correctly specified and can be relied on to actually appear.

Why go?

Because you absolutely positively must have this baseline knowledge to work with electronic books.

Nobody else is offering this kind of training, least of all for free.

Will there be followups?
