Some usability critiques we’re liking lately: A stunningly concise evisceration of the usability deficiencies of Reflect.com in BusinessWeek; usability praise, largely from an automated software source, for REI. We’re just wondering, though: Computers find raw census data usable, for gosh sakes. Why have we developed simulation software to evaluate usability? Isn’t this asking the wolf to guard the coop?We ask you: Haven’t we learned anything from The Matrix?
