Joe Clark,

I will ask you this once only: Stop writing about me and the people I care about on your website. Your obsessive, meticulous cataloguing of my private and online life is deeply disturbing and is a totally unacceptable intrusion into my life.

If your public ramblings (which are, in essence, an attempt at “character assassination”) and all links to personal and professional information concerning those dear to me, are not removed from your website, I will contact the appropriate authorities about your writings. These authorities hold a dim view of those who obsessively and clandestinely monitor and publish the details of private citizens.

In summary, if you do not remove all materials concerning me and my friends from your site within seven days, I shall without hesitation pursue any and all remedies at my disposal, including investigations for offenses under the criminal harassment provisions of the Criminal Code.

All he had to do was ask. As in ask, not demand. It’s a bit de trop.

Of course, search engines will continue to offer documents under the keywords “sportfucking with Brett.”
