Caption Quality Initiative transcripts and documentation

With the permission of Jeff Hutchins, I am hosting the transcripts and documentation pertaining to the Caption Quality Initiative (CQI), a conference that took place in September 2002.

Documents available include:

1. History of CQI
2. Report on the CQI conference of September 2002
3. Transcript of that conference (320 K, 54,000 words, 100 printable pages)

I did not write these documents. I converted them to valid HTML and, in the case of the transcript, I converted to upper and lower case and corrected copy and captioning errors. If these corrections have introduced errors of their own, let me know.
